Meet The Team
President
Joe Borup, CAA
After graduating from the Master of Science in Anesthesia program at UMKC in 2017, I started working for the Ozark Anesthesia Associates group serving Cox Health System in Springfield. I currently hold the office of president of the MOAAA. In this capacity, I hope to continue our legacy of contributing to communities throughout Missouri, including our furry friends. Furthermore, I would like to see MOAAA become the source of all information pertinent to the exposure and expansion of our profession throughout Missouri.
Prior to entering the CAA profession, I served in the US Navy as a Medical Service Corps officer. I spent 9 years as a Hospital Administrator. For fun, I enjoy flying small aircraft and can often be found trying my luck at Texas Hold 'em tournaments; though my wife, April, is the better poker player.
